my name is Lingappa,
I am from Gule. Because of poverty, I never went to school. I was always working in the farm. One day I looked my friend’s were going to school and I felt very sad for myself when I saw my other friends going to school. I thought about how to make my life better nagged me. But I was never had any answers. and Question; I was thinking about what is my life; how can I live better life; What I want to do only farming; selling corn, get money, and give back money to bank with interest? My family had no savings and the same conditions persisted.
One-day Foundation for Life team came to our village and conducted an interview for the VILLAGE BPO PROJECT. I was selected. I was so happy and so scared too. I did not know how I will adjust in the city life and to studies as I had never held a pencil.
But my transformation happened. I can speak in English, use computers and understand analytical problems. I have become smart. I can smile a real smile from my heart. I am still learning. But I want to say I have learnt a lot. I will get a good job very soon.
My dream is to help people become like me in my village.Thank you.

I know English is very important. It make me have better job with good salary. But how can learn English?
I don’t think English is a language which is more beautiful than other languages. It’s only used widely in the world.And I know if I want to learn E well, the first I have to make me love it.
I’m bored with the grammar, the English book… so now I watch the film in english and hear the English songs. It is the best way to learn vocabulary but I can’t improve my speaking skill. Maybe I’m not out-person so I’m shy to talking with the strangers
